What is

blametimquestion.png

This is an excellent, and often-asked question. I suppose it’s about time to answer it.

No, really. What is #BLAMEtim?

#BLAMEtim started over six years ago as an inside joke among a group of event organizers for Infinity the Universe, coined specifically by my friend James for a reason I’m not sure anyone remembers, but apparently was my fault. Over the course of the next couple months, that hashtag kept getting used in our small group chat until finally it was let loose in a global Facebook group called WGC Infinity that I was a Moderator of. A few months later it took off like wildfire, and somehow every week there is still #BLAMEtim Thursday where I jokingly take the blame for whatever went wrong in folks’ games the week beforehand. It’s all tongue-in-cheek fun that I love participating in still, and plan on finally doing something with professionally now.

You’re going to let people blame you professionally?

No. Well, kind of. See, people and companies run into design problems all the time. My thought is if some of those folks need some help with those problems, why can’t I be the one to help them? So, from a self-promotional sense, they can #BLAMEtim, so long as they give me the opportunity to be the solution! With over 20 years in the design world, I’ve seen enough go wrong that I’m not afraid to put my head to a problem to solve it. Then after the contract is fulfilled and the client is happy, they can #BLAMEtim on their favorite social media, and tag me as the solution all at the same time!

Someone said something about merchandise. Is there merch?

Whoa wait, who let that out? Fine. Yes, there will eventually be a release of merchandise SOON(tm), either via this website, blametim.com, or perhaps even Kickstarter. First it will cater to the original audience who still loves to blame me every Thursday for bad dice rolls, then will expand further from there.
