Who or What, is timtoolenCREATIVE?

Husband. Father. Creative. I have over 20 years experience as a graphic designer, in which I’ve worked in the fields of events, brand identity, trade shows, board games, marketing and advertising, publications, merchandise and more. I also have an extensive background and degree in the fine arts; painting, inks, charcoal and graphite, photography, as well as creative writing, and have sold works and hung in a gallery. I also bake bread and enjoy cooking, I collect toys, love books, and play a myriad of games. Temper all of that with an eye for the production side of a project, as well as a sense of humor, and you have a fairly decent picture of me.

I’m not just creative with what I do, a Creative is who I am. There is a difference. Let me show you that difference with your next project or commission.

  • No, all projects and commissions are scheduled into my workflow at that time. Of course deadlines will dictate what they will and this will always be taken into account.

  • I prefer to over-communicate with my clients so they not only feel a part of the creative process, because they are, but so any possible misunderstandings or hiccups can caught before they are able to cause any problems. Surprises are only fun on birthdays and holidays!

  • For any project or commission rate inquiries, please use the form to the right. I will be more than happy to go over your project with you, answer any questions you may have, and give you a fair rate to accomplish it for.

  • I try not to, but that is ultimately up to you and your deadline, and will be brought up if necessary.

  • All projects do require a 35% deposit before any work begins. This is to protect both you and me.

  • Because those are the most frequent questions I receive, it’s easier to get them out of the way here, and honestly because exposure rarely pays the bills.
